Simon Russell Beale plays the cross-dressing Captain Dennis whose performances of Marlene Dietrich, Vera Lynn and Carmen Miranda form the centrepiece of Peter Nichols' award-winning comedy set against the murderous backdrop of the Malaysian campaign at the end of the Second World War.

* Starring Simon Russell Beale - a magnificent comic actor who hasn't quite been allowed off his leash since the NT's hysterical 'London Assurance' in 2010. But perhaps, perversely, the season's secret weapon is Grandage himself: a brilliant, meticulous director, he rarely puts a foot wrong, and the prospect of the West End receiving five plays in a row, all directed by him, is a real treat.

If your goal is to grow your practice and increase patient loyalty, you should know about the fundamental principles that comprise the core of any successful private medical practice. A cost-effective message & music on-hold production will highlight these inner workings, impressing both new and existing patients with remarkable results.

This is part one of a two-part series examining the history of both the Irish culture and Saint Patrick's Day. Irish-American communities have been present in the United States for several centuries; to this day their ethnic identity has been particularly meaningful to them. They still brim with tremendous pride and honor due to their Irish heritage despite their passionate love for America. The Saint Patrick's Day parade has been observed since 1737 and was celebrated in New York City as early as 1762. Keeping Irish-Americans, struggles, resilience, pride and ultimate role in shaping America as we know it today in mind, we can start exploring the history of this important part of Americana.
